Artist's Comments

This is a "pencil" of Clint Eastwood as the character which he played in Sergio Leone's "MAN WITH NO NAME" TRILOGY -A FISTFUL OF DOLLARS (1964), FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE (1965), and THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY (1966)

The original is 8"x8.5" overall. It is drawn on medium weight, hot press Crescent Illustration Board. German made Faber-Castell Drawing Pencils were used. The majority of the "pencil' was done with a #6 lead, while the remainder was darkened with #8 leads. Total time to complete was 20 hours

The original is black and white. The scan was "hit" with a little sepia to add to the overall antique look.

Daily DeviationI had recently watched a bunch of Akira Kurosawa films, which were an inspiration for the the movie Fistful of Dollars which "CLINT" by ~buffalographics is itself inspired from. So when it was suggested to me, and I saw the quality of the rendering, I took it as a sign. And so a DD is born. (Suggested by ~wendelin and Featured by `zeruch)

My Lord, the amount of detail in this is beyond incredible. However, the scan quality let's it down some what.

Thats really good :D although it looks more like Clint in The Outlaw Josey Wales =p still a damn good drawing which soo deserves a :+fav: :D
